DIRECT REPAIR

A 'Direct Repair' is when the insurance company lets you select from a list of shops that they will guarantee the work to your satisfaction. We have provided below a list of some of the insurance companies that we work with on the 'Direct Repair' program. We also do body repair work for McDermott Chevrolet, Lexus and Hummer, 665 Main Street, East Haven, CT  06512. If a McDermott customer was involved in an accident and goes there for an estimate, one of their knowledgeable staff in their service department will call us here, at Gillette, to meet the customer and have an estimate done. Once the estimate is done the customer can either call McDermott or Gillette to schedule an appointment to have the repairs done. The customer can either drop the vehicle off at McDermott or Gillette at that point. When repairs are done, Gillette delivers the vehicle to McDermott for them to look at and do the final inspection.
