Conveniently located at 4 Middletown Avenue in New Haven, CT on the North Haven border, opposite exit 7 (I-91 southbound). Gillette Auto Body is easily accessible from New Haven, East Haven and North Haven via local streets and from surrounding communities by ways of Routes I-95 and I-91.

Gillette Auto Body, family owned and operated since 1957, is a licensed, fully equipped, "state of the art" shop featuring the following:

Our Paint Department is in a separate building featuring a Down Draft Blow Therm Spray Booth, a Semi-Down Draft Spray Booth, and a Semi-Down Draft Prep Station.  We use a precision color match system to refinish the repaired areas to the closest possible color match.

Our Collision Department consists of a Body Shop capable of accommodating 32 cars currently, Four Chief Frame Machines, Two EZ Liners, One Flatrack, Two Linde MIG Welders, a Genesis II Computerized Laser Measuring System and a full range of miscellaneous tools. Accidents will happen! We take the following procedures very seriously into repairing your vehicle: reassemble structural parts and weld, if needed, to factory specifications and with approved methods, restore factory corrosion protection and align suspension and wheels for safe handling. Dings, dents, you name it! We have the equipment and trained personnel to restore your vehicles original look.

Our Staff are fully trained and ASE / I-CAR Certified. Each and every repaired vehicle is safety-road tested by management personnel before being released to our clientele.

Gillette Auto Body presently performs Direct Repairs for several insurance companies. Some of these insurance companies include, Allstate, Safeco, State Farm, One Beacon, Liberty Mutual, Progressive, Infinity and Nationwide as well as many others.
